Silk 1.3.0 — Overlay and Close Game
This one is about staying in Silk after you hit Play. Overlay, close-from-launcher, and Steam tracking that doesn’t get fooled by the little “Now launching” window.
When a game is running, Start (or your hotkey, default Control+Shift+O) brings Silk back over the top. Hide it and the game is waiting. No game injection — Silk just owns a window.
You can close the running game from inside Silk. Steam games are tracked by the install folder, so the launcher popup is no longer treated as “the game exited.”
- Game overlay with a smooth pop-in
- Editable keyboard hotkey
- Desktop notification overlay (stacking toasts)
- Controller UI input ignored while the game is focused
- Restore Silk when the real process exits
